What this platform is
Revised Reviews, Contractor Edition, is a review platform where contractors and clients rate each other after real projects. Reviews can only be written by a participant of a project logged on the platform. Contractors submit a contractor license which is reviewed by a human before full access opens.
Your account
Your mobile number is your sign-in. You are responsible for what is posted from your account. One account per person.
Reviews
- Write what happened. Reviews must be truthful, first-hand accounts of the project they are attached to. You are the author of your reviews and responsible for them.
- Both sides get a voice. The person reviewed can post one public response and can dispute a review. A human reviews every dispute. Reviews that are hidden are retained, not destroyed.
- Profiles can exist before signup. When a contractor logs a project, a client profile may be created from the project record. The client can claim it any time with their own phone number, see everything on it, and respond.
Photos, documents and signatures
Project photos posted to a project are visible on that project and on the contractor's profile. Project documents are private to the participants of the project. The signature feature records the typed name, a timestamp, and a document fingerprint. Whether that record meets the signature requirements for a given contract or state is something to confirm with your own advisor; the platform records, it does not give legal advice.
Payments
Paid plans are subscriptions for platform features. No money moves between contractors and clients inside the platform.
Privacy
- We store what you give us: name, phone, optional email, license details for contractors, projects, photos, reviews and documents.
- Reviews and trust scores are visible to signed-in members as described in the app. Documents are visible only to the two participants of the project.
- You can download everything we hold about you from your account page, free, any time.
- You can request account deletion from your account page. There is a 30-day grace window, then it is removed. Reviews you wrote about others remain, as they are part of the other party's record.
- Text messages: we text sign-in codes and, if you leave it on, notifications about your account. Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts.
The platform's role
Revised Reviews hosts reviews written by its members. It does not verify every statement in every review, does not guarantee any contractor's work or any client's conduct, and is not a party to any contract between members.
