Fourteen clubs, five swings each. Nearly everybody has the full swing row and guesses the rest, which is why the shot from 132 feels like a choice between too much club and not enough. The dark squares are shots already in your bag, unmeasured.

Three range sessions and it knows more than you do.

There is nothing to learn and nothing to configure. The first bucket is the whole setup.

Pick your bag

Choose what you actually carry, from a driver down to a 64 degree wedge. Rename anything to whatever you call it. Only your clubs ever show up again.

Empty a bucket

Club, swing, carry. Type them as you hit or paste a whole session in one line. Five shots on a combination and it stops being an estimate and becomes your number.

Play

Type the yardage in front of you. The closest club and swing comes back first, with how far off it is. One handed, in the sun, with no signal.

Straight answers

The questions everybody asks.

Do I need a signal out there?

No. Everything lives on your phone rather than on somebody's server, so it opens and works in a dead spot at the far end of a course.

Do I have to make an account?

No. It opens straight into the app. Signing in is an option in Settings that turns on a backup, not a gate you have to pass first.

Is it any use on day one?

Yes. Every club and swing starts on a typical distance, clearly marked as an estimate, and your own numbers replace them one combination at a time as you log shots.

Why five shots before it trusts a number?

Because an average of two shots is noise. At five the estimate is dropped and the warning goes, and that combination is reading your golf instead of somebody else's.

What is the fifth swing for?

Whatever you want. The knock down, the punch, the little chaser, the one with no name. It never gets a generic estimate, because a made up number for a swing only you can define would be a guess wearing the same clothes as a real one.

Can I get my numbers out?

Any time. Export the lot as a spreadsheet or a file, or erase everything and start again. It is your data and it behaves like it.
